Sticky Trap Ball 60 cm – Horsefly and Stable Fly Trap

Sticky Trap Ball 60 cm is an ecological trap designed to reduce the number of botflies and horseflies in pastures, paddocks, and near stables. In combination with Sticky Trap Horsefly Glue, it creates an effective insect trapping system without the use of insecticides or pesticides.

How does it work?

Female botflies and horseflies need to feed on blood before laying their eggs. When searching for a host, they are primarily attracted by heat and movement. The black ball heats up in the sun and moves in the wind, making it resemble a large animal to the insects. Attracted insects land on the glue-covered surface and become immobilized. Regularly trapping females helps to reduce their population as they cannot lay eggs.
