The 14 m (224 W) anti-freeze cable is a reliable solution to prevent water pipes and installations from freezing during frosty weather.

The heating cable is wrapped directly around the pipe , and the emitted heat effectively protects the installation from freezing. It is ideal for stables, barns, hen houses, garages, and outbuildings .

A built-in thermostat with a sensor automatically turns on the cable at temperatures around +3°C , precisely when there's a risk of water freezing. This allows the system to operate automatically and energy-efficiently , without the need for constant monitoring.

When combined with appropriate insulation (e.g. VORST050 insulating tape), the cable provides protection up to -45°C .

1. The cable is wrapped spirally around the pipe.

2. The thermostat sensor is attached directly to the pipe.

3. The whole thing is secured with aluminum tape and insulation.

4. The system automatically turns on when the temperature drops.
