Excellent Horse Salmon Oil is rich in omega-3 (EPA and DHA) and omega-6 fatty acids. It supports overall health, the natural immune system, and joint function. It has a beneficial effect on the heart, stimulates appetite, and provides energy.

Salmon oil vs. flaxseed oil

Both salmon oil and flaxseed oil are rich in essential fatty acids. The main difference lies in the types of omega-3 acids. Flaxseed oil is particularly rich in ALA, while salmon oil also contains EPA and DHA. ALA acids must be converted by the body into EPA and DHA (conversion is only 5-10%), whereas EPA and DHA from salmon oil are directly absorbed – much more efficiently.

Dosage

Horse < 450 kg:
Intensive: 40 ml daily
Maintenance: 20 ml daily

Horse ≥ 450 kg:
Intensive: 60 ml daily
Maintenance: 30 ml daily

Administer orally or mix with feed. Shake before use.
